A striking pair of original 1970s fireside chairs, fully restored and beautifully reupholstered in a rich rust toned textured chambray fabric.
With their distinctive sculptural form, generous proportions and sleek chrome frames, these chairs have a wonderful mid-century character while feeling equally at home in a more traditional interior. The warm upholstery brings depth and colour, while the polished chrome and timber detailing add a sophisticated contrast.
Both chairs have been fully restored and professionally reupholstered, making them ready to enjoy for years to come. A particularly special pair that would work beautifully either side of a fireplace, as occasional chairs in a sitting room, or as statement pieces in a bedroom or study.
There are some signs of age related patina to the chrome frames but this is to be expected of pieces of this age
Seat Width - 50cm
Seat Depth - 48cm
Frame Depth - 59cm
Height - 77cm
Feel free to ask me any questions
My preference is to sell them as a matching pair but I’m open to discussions of selling them separately.
I also have one remaining unrestored chair still in my workshop so if you love the shape and style but the colour and fabric just isn’t quite right, please drop me a message and we can discuss a personal commission.
Collection from Sydenham, London or local delivery can be discussed for an additional charge.
For deliveries further afield in the UK, please get in contact for a quote before purchasing.
