After more than 15 years as a designer in the fashion industry, Ali founded Studio AES to bring a thoughtful, timeless approach to residential interiors. Her career in fashion cultivated a keen eye for colour, texture, proportion and craftsmanship, but it also inspired a desire to create designs with lasting value.

Following the complete renovation of her own London home and involvement in numerous residential renovation projects, Ali discovered a enthusiasm for designing interiors that are as practical as they are beautiful. From reimagining layouts and planning lighting schemes to selecting finishes, furnishings and colour palettes, she believes every design decision should enhance the way people live every day.
