Masterfully inspired by Marcel Breuer's legendary Bauhaus design principles, these chairs are in the style of the iconic Cesca chair .
Every chair in this set has undergone a meticulous, top-to-bottom restoration. The iconic tubular chrome frames have been carefully polished back to their original high-shine luster, while the natural wood trim accents have been gently sanded and refinished to celebrate their beautiful organic grain. To complete the revitalization, both the padded seats and backrests have been stripped down and reupholstered in a premium, plush rust-brown chenille fabric. The striking texture provides a brilliant tactile contrast to the cool industrial steel frame, providing a timeless aesthetic that effortlessly pairs with vintage teak sideboards, minimalist solid oak tables, or contemporary spaces.
All chairs are stamped ‘Made in Italy 01 96’ and have made in Italy stickers on the underside of the backrest
These are incredibly well made and in great condition due to being sourced from a film studio storage unit before undergoing their restoration so the frames show very little signs of rust, unusual for chairs of this age. The wooden frames do show some slight related patina in places.
